The Tama S.L.P. Studio Maple snare drum (LMP1465FSEN) was developed as part of the Sound Lab Project Every snare drum in this line is made with a particular type of player in mind, and has a very distinct sound. The Studio Maple is a 14-inch snare with a 6.5-inch-deep, maple shell. This maple shell is combined with striking, specially designed hoops that have also been completely made of maple. That gives this beautiful drum an incredibly warm and powerful tone, with a crystal-clear, transparent attack.
